Via Amref International University (AMIU):
Strengthening health professions education requires more than strong institutions. It calls for meaningful partnerships, shared learning and a collective commitment to innovation.

Earlier this week AMIU hosted the Kenya–India PEP Institutional Knowledge Exchange Visit, under the theme “Strengthening Health Professions Education through Institutional Collaboration, Innovation and Knowledge Exchange.”
Partners included Amref International University, Kenyatta University, Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore, AIIMS New Delhi, the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI), and the PEP Secretariat at Amref Health Africa.
Discussions covered institutional progress under PEP, innovative teaching and learning, faculty development, collaborative research, joint postgraduate training, and sustainable partnerships for stronger health systems. The day ended with a campus tour, including the Clinical Skills Laboratory and simulation-based training facilities.
